Getting the most out of Roda!
We meet a lot of visitors in the course of a season and each one has their own preferred formula for a summer vacation in Roda. Accommodation is naturally the biggest deciding factor for their stay in the village and the choice of where to stay may significantly influence the enjoyment of their holiday in more ways than they might imagine.
There are three main categories of accommodation to choose from and that all-important choice may directly influence the enjoyment of their holiday. Package tour customers certainly have the opportunity to sample the delights of the village and at least they have a choice even if many decide not to exercise it, but the ones who get the most from the village have learned that safety is not an issue, there will be few mishaps and no attacks. They move freely beyond any concerns for safety & security and immerse themselves totally in the warmth of welcome that the people of Roda extend to all their visitors.
Three groups of people, all with one aim – to enjoy their hard earned summer vacation and strangely, they often pay much the same money for the privilege. Speaking throughout the year to people from each group, there is little doubt which gets the most from their holiday – it has to be the independent visitor.

In the middle, we have the majority –
package tour holidaymakers who have most of the freedom of the independent travellers, but far less of the restrictions of the all-inclusives. There is still the comfort of being able to fall back on the tour operator if necessary, but how many of us actually believe that they have our best interests at heart?

To someone staying at an all-inclusive complex, the prospect of travelling independently might seem to be fraught with danger and to be reckless in the extreme,
Interestingly, psychologists believe that once security issues are satisfied, we move to a higher level of development and seek out friendship & intimacy. These are the qualities that both long-term visitors and newcomers to Roda cite as their main reason for wanting to return – the
