postponed to September. A few weeks ago I left for Kerkyra for the second time this summer, but this occasion not for holiday reasons and… all by myself for a change...

It was nice to have the opportunity to visit Roda for the weekend as well… I realised again how special the people in Roda are, some of them even remembered me. It was almost the end of the season and I felt that people were more relaxed and had more time for a chat. Although the weather was not as wonderful as we had experienced in July, I spent a few
organisations delivering these services. It supports lifelong learning and mobility in this way & also tackles Europe’s ageing population problem.
new friends about Roda and I hope they will remember if they want to return to Corfu. I am sure they all loved the island very much!!! wonderful hours on the beach of Roda that Sunday afternoon.. so relaxing!! It was the perfect way to prepare for the winter to come…
This seminar was very interesting; we were twenty people from all over the European Union (11 countries), talking about all kind of issues like sustainable development, lifelong learning, cultural heritage protection, active (European) citizenship & intercultural education. We learned about each other and from each other! We were invited to the Prefecture in Corfu Town, to meet the Prefect of Corfu and our photograph was in ‘H Kerkyra Simera’, (Corfu Today) - a local newspaper.
Along with the seminar-workshops, there were a lot of excursions as well. We went to see the Achillion/Gastouri,
were in Corfu for the Grundtvig-seminar this year .
This week in Corfu Town was wonderful, and we even experienced the Greek elections on Sunday 4th of October. I had
Kalo xeimona!! / Have a good winter!!
